Time and again, I have seen that the most
valued and loved pictures of children are candid shots that show them in their own world. "Candid" in its original sense
-- shining, honest, sincere. Not perched on Santa's knee in dress-up clothes or forced to grin in an unfamiliar setting
-- but being themselves. Children look amazing (and amazingly photogenic) every day. I will work with you to capture
familiar moments in portraits your family will treasure.
· I like to get down on the ground and play with kids until they forget the camera is
there. No dirty squeaky bunny to make them smile; I find that the less they are aware of the camera, the better.
· Unposed, unsentimental and unique.
· I prefer to photograph children in settings where they are comfortable and relaxed.
My practice is to photograph in your home, a neighborhood park or anywhere the children are comfortable enough to quickly
forget the camera.
· Packages start at $650. I include the costs for film, development and proofs
in this fee. Together we will determine what the best format for final prints will be - whether a single stunning framed
photograph, a framed sequence showing action, or a customized album of images. Prices vary depending on format.
